A&W Canada has added new Spicy Piri Piri Buddy Burgers to their menu, bringing heat to the classic small sandwich!
There are three new burgers to try, all featuring a spicy piri piri sauce made from hot chili peppers.
The three new Buddy Burgers are:
- Spicy Piri Piri Potato Buddy – potato hash brown topped with piri-piri sauce, lettuce, tomato, and red onion on a toasted bun
- Spicy Piri Piri Beef Buddy – 1.6oz grass-fed beef patty topped with piri-piri sauce, lettuce, tomato, and red onion on a toasted bun
- Spicy Piri Piri Chicken Buddy – breaded chicken breasted topped with piri-piri sauce, lettuce, tomato, and red onion on a toasted bun
The Spicy Piri Piri Potato Buddy is inspired by the large amount of South Asian employees and customers who were making their own version of the Buddy Burger by substituting the beef patty with a hash brown and adding the spiciest sauce available.
The new Spicy Piri Piri Burgers are available for $3.99 each at participating A&W locations across Canada for a limited time.
