McDonald’s Canada is launching the Kerwin Frost Box on December 11, marking a unique collaboration with lifelong McDonald’s enthusiast and artist Kerwin Frost!
The specially designed box includes your choice of 10-piece Chicken McNuggets or a Big Mac, medium fries, and a medium fountain drink.
As a bonus, customers will receive a McNugget Buddy collectible, making a return after more than 25 years, this time with a fresh design in collaboration with Kerwin Frost.
Inspired by Frost’s childhood experiences and his belief in self-expression, the McNugget Buddy collection features characters representing the diverse personalities of “Frost Way”, a place where everyone is encouraged to be themselves.
Meet the Buddies:
- Kerwin Frost – The Mayor of Frost Way, a true champion of self-expression
- Don Bernice – The Wise Stylist, an experienced fashion designer offering stern advice
- Uptown Moe – The Neighbourhood Hero, a street-smart and supportive figure
- Waffutu – The Curious Optimist, spreading positivity with a wave of the wand
- BRRRICK – The Cool Guy, an adventurous Buddy always cool under pressure
- Darla – The Dreamer, a confident singer pursuing her dreams with a peaceful demeanor
The McNugget Buddies were introduced in 1988 as part of a limited-time Happy Meal. They were known for their wacky adventures, interchangeable outfits, and wild imaginations.
The Kerwin Frost Box will be available at participating McDonald’s locations across Canada starting December 11, 2023, for a limited time.
